2024 booking CONDITIONS

To reserve your tour, a € 500 per person deposit is required. The remaining balance of your payment is due 60 days prior to departure.

You can postpone or cancel your tour for any reason free of charge (minus a cancellation fee of 250 Eur) up to 60 days prior to departure.  You can also opt to use the payment as a travel credit to use within two calendar years of the original departure date. 

These specific cancellation terms are not applicable for La Vuelta or Tour De France tours.

If you cancel for any reason 60-10 days before the departure, the cancelation fee will amount to 60% of your total payment. Cancelation 10 days or less prior to your departure will require a 80% cancelation fee.  See the chart below for more information. 

If you are obliged to undergo a COVID test (or similar) upon arrival in the country of destination and you or any of your group members receive a positive result, or if it is required to take such a test when returning home, this is not considered a force majeure condition and therefore a cancelation due to this reason is subject to our standard cancelation terms. 

Travel insurance on guided tours covers the cancelation of your trip (100%) if you receive a positive PCR result for COVID-19 and subsequently cannot travel. This travel insurance does not include government restrictions or canceled/changed flights.

PRICES

Bike Spain Tours guarantees these prices in euros for all 2023 , VAT included. As a general rule, any service not described on the trip details is not included. Take care of supplements and optional charges. Your trip will be organized according to the descriptions in our web-site information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Bike Spain Tours is not responsible for and does not recommend the purchase of non-refundable, advance purchase airline tickets.

DISCOUNTS

We offer a group discount to groups of six or more travelers. We are sorry that we can´t combine discounts.

HOW TO SIGN UP FOR A TRIP

After reading these conditions, complete our reservation form. Your booking will be confirmed by email, after the charge of a deposit of EURO 500.- per person. Final payment is due 60 days before departure

If final payment is not received by the due date, Bike Spain Tours reserves the right to treat the reservation as cancelled.

We accept these credit cards: VISA, AMEX and MASTERCARD

Two months prior the departure, Bike Spain reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for insufficient number of participants (4 participants on guided tours and 2 participants on self guided tours). If the tour is cancelled, participants will receive a full refund of money paid to Bike Spain Tours. Any changes made to the itinerary (e.g. hotel reservations or departure dates) made after the invoice has been issued will incur a charge of EUR 150,00 per reservation or group. After the change has been approved by the client, a second invoice will be issued reflecting the changes.

CANCELLATIONS – TOUR DE FRANCE, GIRO D’ITALIA, VUELTA DE ESPAÑA

For the trips mentioned above, the following payment and cancellation policy apply:

To confirm and guarantee your reservation we require a down payment of 500 EUR.This amount is non refundable. Final payment is due 40 days before the starting date of your trip.

If for any reason you wish to cancel the trip, we will reimburse you for the amount minus the the deposit (€ 500). Also a penalty will apply, depending on the date we receive notification of the cancelation:

– Between 40 and 31 days before departure: 50% of the total trip;
– Between 30 and 7 days before departure: 70% of the total trip;
– Between 6 and 2 days before departure: 90% of the total trip;
– 24 hours before departure and no show: 100% of the total trip.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We give an insurance to all those signing with us a guided tour, in which all these different subjects are included. Nevertheless, we ask you to review the limited amount of such coverage included in our insurance offer, and to confirm with your insurer that you are adequately covered in any event.

ORGANIZATION

Bike Spain Tours, SL is an authorized travel agency in Spain, registered by number CICMA 1650m and with fiscal address Plaza de la Villa 1, local 1. 28005 MADRID with number CIF: B84209576.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The participant understands that he/she is booking onto an active tour and that there are inherent risks involved in such travel and include, but are not limited to, vehicular traffic, weather conditions, illnesses or accidents. Bike Spain Tours assumes no responsibility for any claims, damages, expenses or other financial loss to person or property arising out of these inherent risks. Reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed advisable for the comfort and well-being of the passengers. The right is reserved to substitute hotels, alter the itinerary, and reverse the order of the places to be visited. On the advancement of deposit to Bike Spain Tours, the depositor therefore agrees to be bound by the above recited terms and conditions.

We use all reasonable efforts to try and ensure that the holidays offered by us are properly arranged and that the suppliers of the services in the holiday maintain reasonable standards. We accept responsibility to take reasonable care in the organisational aspects of the holiday but we are not liable and cannot be held responsible for actions of property owners, providers of transport or any other suppliers involved in your holiday.

We regret that we cannot accept liability for any loss, damage or additional expense where the booking needs to be altered or cancelled or we are unable to perform our contractual obligations as a result of events of ‘force majeure’. In these Booking Conditions ‘force majeure’ means any event which could not have been reasonably foreseen, or the consequences could not have been reasonably avoided, by us or the suppliers of the relevant services in question, even with the exercise of all due care. Such events may include war or threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or man-made disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions and all similar events outside our or the relevant suppliers’ control.

In your interests as well as ours, Bike Spain reserves the right to alter the travel itinerary should unforseen circumstances require them to do so. However we will make every effort to provide replacements of equal or superior value.

The client accepts the use of the pictures taken on the guided trips for promotional reasons of the company Bike Spain Tours, SLU

ACEPTANCE OF THESE CONDITIONS

These conditions and terms of contract and all matters arising therefrom are subject to Spanish Law and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.
