Meet with Bike Spain guide in Barcelona Hotel and transfer of 1 hour to the Mas Lazuli Hotel. Complete a bike fitting and start your bike ride or enjoy a free afternoon and finish with dinner at Michelin Restaurant Vista Bella (booking made for 20:30pm – 2pax).

This morning’s ride will take you toward the coastal region of Cadaques. The tranquility of the rolling fields and coast attracts city folk from Barcelona when they are ready to escape to the countryside. This area is gaining a great reputation for its hearty red wines and we will pass some notable wineries along the way.

Day 4: September 20

Leaving the area of the Alt Emporda we make our way down towards the southern part of the province, the Baix Emporda or Lower Emporda. Our bike ride from the hotel takes us through rolling, bucolic terrain surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. We pass through many charming, small towns, stopping along the way for a hearty local lunch before arriving on the luxurious grounds of our 5-star lodgings for the next 2 nights, Mas de Torrent.
The dinner can be enjoyed at the espectacular terrace of the hotel’s restaurant.

Day 4: September 21

Today our ride takes us into the cultural heartland of Catalonia to discover some of the charming medieval villages that pepper the lands between Girona and the coast. We’ll spin through La Bisbal and Madremanya as well as Pubol, where you can visit Castell Gala-Dali, the castle Dali bought just for his wife Gala to live in.
Towards the end of the ride we arrive in the town of Ullastret for a well-deserved lunch on the charming terrace of the excellent Iberic restaurant. Depending on how you feel after lunch, you can opt to return to the hotel to relax by the pool or in the spa or to visit some exceptional ceramics workshops in the town of Bisbal.
At night, transfer to the Michelin restaurant Casamar at 20:30pm (booking made for 2pax).

Day 5: September 22
Route: approx 30 km
Accommodation: Parador de Aiguablava
Today we’ll start with a spin through the town of La Bisbal before beginning a climb to la Col de la Ganga. Then it’s time to relax and revel in an exhilarating cruise downhill towards the fishing town of Palamos. After arriving at the seafront we make our way towards a private wine estate for a hands-on cooking class before sitting down to enjoy the fruits of our labour and the stunning views from the beautiful terrace of the estate.
Afterwards you can take a dip in the pool on the estate or make your way back to our final hotel, the impresive modern building hanging between pine trees and elevated over the clifts with magnificient views of the coast. The Parador is a moder art museum by inside as well. Peacefull and relaxing place to end our tour.
