For any cyclist with a passion for the peloton and an obsession with the Tour de France our Bike Spain Tour following the Tour of France of this classic road race is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Live the rides for yourself and then cheer on the pros as they pass you on the very same climb. Push yourself to the limit or just enjoy the best views from some of the most impressive peaks in the French Alps.
During the course of our weeklong cycling adventure we will see various stages of the tour! Our small group sizes allow for a flexible VIP experience with close proximity to the Pro Tour Teams.
The bunch will go through the Alps and up to the mythical Alpe d’Huez, with 13.8 km and 21 curves, it is the most recognized mountain in the history of the Tour de France.
We start with 3 days in Aix-les-Bains. Here, we can ride with a professional team on their day off. Then, we will have three days in the beautiful village of Annecy in the Haute-Savoie, where the Alps begin, and in the end there will be the transfer to Paris.
Highest quality hotels have been carefully selected and our experienced guides will be on hand to assist you from your arrival in France. They have expert knowledge on the race area including the best roads and routes to ensure you have nothing to worry about other than the pleasure of cycling. Van support and technical assistance is always close at hand.
Day 1: Aix-les-Bains
Sunday, July 12th
Welcome to France!
Today, we will meet you at Lyon Part de Dieu train station, in front of the Campanile hotel, Rhone-Express stop at 1:00 p.m., after departure from the race. You can reach Lyon from Paris on numerous trains. If you fly to Lyon, you have a train that arrives at the station in 30 minutes.
Transfer to the Villa Marlioz hotel in Aix-les-Bains. We will do a short bike ride around the lake.
Today’s dinner is included and it will be a good time for you to meet the whole team that will accompany you throughout this week of cycling in the Tour de France.

Day 2: Aix-les-Bains
Monday, July 13th
Today we will take the opportunity to go see some professional team installed near us, usually Movistar, training and riding with them. Riding with the professionals is a very special experience that will allow you to see the runners, talk to them and, of course, follow their wheel.
Dinner tonight is included in the hotel.

Day 3: Aix-les-Bains
Tuesday, July 14th
Today we will cycle from the hotel to La Tour-du-Pin to go to see stage 16 as it passes through the first mountain pass. Surely the platoon will be billing and we can see the runners well. After the race, we will return to the hotel by bicycle.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy the celebration of the National Day of France (also known as Bastille Day) with the fireworks show on the lake. Afterwards, we will enjoy a dinner together.

Day 4: Annecy
Wednesday, July 15th
Today we will hop on the van to go to Bride les bains (1 hour drive) where we will start the toughest climb of the tour, the Méribel Col de la Loze with 21 km at 7.8% ending at about 2.300 meters. It promises to be the queen stage (stage 17) and it will undoubtedly be decisive, giving advantage to the climbers of Le Tour de France. After watching the race pass, we moved by van to the Annecy hotel.
Enjoy this beautiful and picturesque city, known as “The Venice of the Alps” for its beautiful old town and the canal that runs through it. You can take a walk near the shore of the lake, with its translucent water and that reflects the mountains that surround it. On your walk, we recommend a visit to the Castle Museum, located on the top of a small hill, where you can enjoy privileged views.
Day 5: Annecy
Thursday, July 16th
This morning we leave the hotel towards La Clusaz and Monté Plateau des Glieres, corresponding to (stage 18) A mountain high known for the famous battle of Glieres. We will go through a stretch of land that is always spectacular.
Return to the hotel by bike. Tonight, dinner is not included.
Day 6: Annecy
Friday, July 17th
Today’s race moves away from our area, being a stage (stage 19) without much of an interest. For this reason, we will make a beautiful circular route around Lake Annecy, on a bike path of about 42 km. This spectacular route is practically flat, except for a climb that can be done at the beginning to make the ride easier. We will make several stops to admire the landscape.
Today dinner is included, in a restaurant near the hotel.
Day 7: Paris
Saturday, July 18th
Today Saturday is the decisive time trial stage, but also very far away (stage 19) We choose to make a transfer to Bourg Oisans and climb the famous Alpe d’Huez.
After this exciting climb of great memories, we will return to Grenoble to take the TGV train around 5:00p.m., which takes about 3 hours to Paris train station (Gare de Lyon). Upon arrival, the hotel is at walking distance.
The guides will return by van to Spain.

Day 8: Paris – Final Stage Champs-Élysées
Sunday, July 19th
After breaksfast, it’s time to get prepared for the final day of The Tour.
In the afternoon, you cannot miss the arrival of the race in the mythical Champs Elysées to see the traditional end of the party. You can see the happy runners after finishing the most important race in the world.
Tonight you can dine in Paris on your own and discover this amazing city !!!
Day 9: End of the tour
Monday, July 2oth
The end of the trip has arrived, today after breakfast we say goodbye to go home with a memory of a fantastic trip. If you have any questions or requests, your guides will be available to assist you and wish you a pleasant return trip.

This hotel is located in a peaceful environment, in the city center, only a 10 minutes walking distance from the train station and the old town. Lake Annecy is located a few meters from the old town and you can get there by taking a beautiful walk along the Thiou Canal.
Mercure Paris Gare de Lyon TGV
It has an excellent location within walking distance of the clock tower of the Gare de Lyon train station. Do not hesitate to taste a fabulous Parisian breakfast or share a drink in the beautiful bar.
