In preparation for the start of the upcoming season of biking trips, we organized a day of training just outside of Madrid in the former hunting grounds of the Spanish Royal family. With the almond trees in blossom and the warm weather indicating the arrival of Spring time, it was an ideal day for a spin on the bike! The new guides got the opportunity to try out our brand new Specialized bikes with the Bike Spain vans providing support, technical assistance and sumptuous snacks at a magnificent stop taking in views of Madrid.
After a hearty lunch of classic Spanish tapas, we focused our discussions on how to provide the best customer service to Bike Spain clients and what it is that makes a great biking guide. There was no doubt at the end of the day that our new Spanish guides are passionate cyclists who are keen to share the love and knowledge of their country with all the Bike Spain clients who are set to travel with us in 2015.
